Tertiary Education in Crisis: Implications for African Stakeholders

Higher education is facing a crisis. Universities are grappling with the optimum way to blend online and offline education system. There is a growing focus on balancing the cost and benefit of higher education, and a concern about the extent to which the university can serve as a ladder to jobs and social mobility to diverse students in a post-COVID world. Cross-border education is under a spotlight in a context where nationalist, anti-immigrant sentiments are on the rise. A panel of experts moderated by Dr. Lydiah Kemunto Bosire, discussed these and other key issues facing the stakeholders of international higher education.
